Jade - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption

Jade is a beautiful, young and gentle girl who's been learning the joys of play, treats, and scratches...lots and lots of scratches (even on her belly!). Having spent the majority of her life outside, giving birth to one litter after another, Jade started out very shy but -- thanks to a patient foster and very sweet foster siblings -- is gaining confidence every day! Her foster says, Now she meows at me for pets and rolls over for them! Im so proud of her!

Jade also loved being brushed, purring the entire time and asking for more. Her way of signaling that she is ready for a long pet-session is to lay down and give you a stare that says, "Are you ready? Because I am!" Jade loves her cat hammock, spending the majority of her day lounging there. She also loves playing with her wand toy, with the occasional pounce. The way to her heart is playtime and canned tuna.

She will do best in a calm home, with someone who is prepared to be patient while she settles in. Jades confidence has blossomed with another cat in the home, so she must be adopted into a home with a friendly cat.

She's 2.5 old, spayed, vaccinated, free of fleas and parasites, and negative for FIV and FeLV.
