Meet Roofus!

Although my pictures make me look happy, the first few months of my life were anything but. I was surrendered with my mom and siblings in a plastic litter container with the lid taped shut. Needless to say, it was a terrifying and traumatic experience for all of us. Sadly, I was the only sibling who survived that day.

Im around 12 weeks old, and Im understandably very shy and skittish at first. Ill need a family who is willing to be patient with me as I learn to trust, feel safe, and adjust to my new home.

But once Im comfortable? Im your typical kitten! Im extremely talkative, love to play, and have a big personality waiting to shine. I do well with both cats and dogs, although I may need slow introductions while I work through my scaredy-cat tendencies.

Ive already been through more than any kitten should have to, and now Im ready for the part where my story gets a whole lot happier.

Microchip w/registration

We cannot hold animals more than 7 days after we approve an application, as we don't want them to miss out on a forever home.
Adopters are required to come to us to meet the pets. We cannot ship or transport animals.
