Getaway (Bonded with Eavesdrop) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Hudsonville, Michigan

Meet Getaway, a handsome tuxedo boy with striking amber eyes, a little extra fluff, and an absolutely enormous amount of love to give! This sweet, thick boy is the perfect combination of playful kitten energy and professional-level snuggler.

Getaway's favorite place to be is curled up in a warm lap, preferably with his human reading a book or watching TV. He's perfectly content to snooze for hours while you relax, making him an excellent companion for cozy evenings and lazy afternoons. And if you happen to bring out the wet food? Get ready for some happy purrs! It's one of his favorite things, and he isn't shy about letting you know just how much he appreciates it.

Although Getaway has a super playful side and loves a good round of kitten antics, he can be a little shy when meeting new people. He may need a bit of patience and time to settle into a new home, but the reward is so worth it. Once he knows he's safe, you'll discover the sweetest, most affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to be near his favorite humans.

Getaway is bonded with his sister, Eavesdrop, and the two must find a home together. He also does wonderfully with other cats! He's never been introduced to dogs, so we don't know how he would do with canine companions.

Because of his initially shy nature, Getaway would do best in a home without young children, where he can feel comfortable settling in at his own pace.

If you're looking for a handsome, amber-eyed companion who will keep you entertained with his playful personality and then happily spend the rest of the day snoozing in your lap, Getaway might just be your guy. He's a whole lot of kitten, a whole lot of snuggles, and an even bigger whole lot of love!
