“Hey, Dorothea… do you ever stop and think about me?” Well, once you meet this girl, it’ll be hard to stop thinking about her!

Dorothea is a gorgeous white and gray kitten with a big personality, a louder purr, and just the right amount of sass. She’s funny, energetic, and always ready to turn anything into a toy — whether it’s a wand, a crinkly ball, or her sisters’ tails. Independent by nature, Dorothea likes affection on her terms, but when she chooses you, she’s all in: climbing into your lap, purring like a tiny motor, and settling in for cuddles.

She can be a little head shy and prefers gentle body pets while she builds trust, so she’d thrive best with older children who understand kitten boundaries and can let her come to them at her own pace.

Dorothea absolutely adores other cats and needs the love of a feline friend to wrestle, nap, and cause mischief with, so she must either get adopted with another kitten or go to a home with a social cat.

She’s the kind of kitten who makes a house feel alive - playful, sweet, a little mysterious, and impossible not to love. Like the song she’s named after, Dorothea leaves an impression that lingers long after she’s left the room.

Dorothea is available for pre-adoption and should be ready to go home by the second week of June.
