I'm Bailey, a 6-year-old tan Scottish Fold boy with a bit of independent spirit! I was surrendered by my Owner to a NYC Shelter when she was moving. I was with her my entire life – I loved to lounge on the couch, scratch on my pads, and play with my toys. I am a lap cat by nature and I love affection. Since my mom left me, I have had a hard time adjusting to a foster and now to a second shelter, and I am on "happy meds" to help me regulate my moods I'm already neutered and litter box trained, so the basics are covered — I just need the right environment to thrive. I will do best as your only cat in a peaceful, adult-only home where I can be myself without the hustle and bustle. With time, I could get used to a female cat in my environment.
