Theo's story began with a miracle. He was found clinging to life alongside a busy Houston freeway, where kind-hearted rescuers saved him just in time. Although his rough start left him frightened of the world, every day he grows a little braver.

Theo is a gentle kitten who needs a little time to trust. When he first arrived at his foster home, he was very scared, but with the help of his foster siblings, Micah and Olivia, he slowly learned that people can be kind and that home is a safe place.

While Theo may be nervous if someone is standing over him, everything changes once they sit or lie down. That's when his sweet, affectionate personality shines through. He'll quietly make his way over, asking for gentle pets, and before long, his foster mom says he's the loudest purrer she's ever met! When he's especially happy, Theo will purr contentedly while suckling on a soft blanket—a comforting habit that reminds you just how much love and security mean to him.

Theo is looking for a patient, understanding family that will let him set the pace. He's not the type of kitten to rush into your arms on day one, but if you give him the time and space he needs, he'll reward you with a deep bond built on trust. He wants to love his people—he just needs to be the one to make the first move.

After such a difficult beginning, Theo has come a long way, and with continued love and patience, his confidence will only continue to grow. While he was shy at first, through hard work and perseverance he has begun to come out of his shell, becoming more brave and social.

He will really do great if he goes to a home with a confident and loving cat already present.

Theo is 5 1/2 months old. He is fully vaccinated and neutered.

Theo is currently being fostered in Houston, but can travel to anywhere in the States or even Canada to the right home.

Theo is currently in Texas but can travel to any state, and also Canada. His adoption fee is $400 USD and his transport fee is $200-$250.

Theo is litterbox trained and very intelligent. He got all his shots and boosters. He is neutered, microchipped and kept on deworming schedule.
