Meet Tai Lung!

Tai Lung's journey has been one of patience, resilience, and learning to trust.

As a tiny 2-month-old kitten, Tai Lung was rescued from a feral colony while being treated for an upper respiratory infection. Although he recovered, he and his brother, Po, were never returned outside. Instead, they spent much of their kittenhood living in a dog crate with very little human interaction.

Because of this, Tai Lung is understandably shy with new people. But don't let that discourage you—behind that cautious exterior is an incredibly sweet cat who just needs someone willing to earn his trust.

Watching Tai Lung come out of his shell has been one of the most rewarding experiences. The kitten who once hid whenever someone entered the room now greets his favorite people at the door before leading them to his beloved cat tree for pets. Seeing that transformation is truly special.

Tai Lung is looking for a calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who understands that love doesn't always happen overnight. Once he feels safe, you'll gain a loyal companion who enjoys gentle affection, sunny naps in a tall cat tree by the window, chasing birds with his eyes, and playing with his absolute favorite toy—a laser pointer! Churu treats are also the fastest way to his heart.

While Tai Lung can be adopted on his own, he would love to go home with his brother, Po, or to a family that already has a friendly, confident cat. Having a feline friend helps him feel secure and encourages his confidence to continue growing.

If you're willing to give Tai Lung the time he deserves, you'll discover that the greatest relationships are often the ones built on patience and trust.

Tai Lung has had all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, microchipped, received monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention, tested negative for FeLV, and has been altered.

We recommend having a fecal test rechecked within 48 hours of adoption, which is covered by us. If they test positive for any parasites, we will provide the dewormer recommended by your veterinarian at no additional cost.

Adoption Fee: $225
Adopters will receive copies of their microchip registration information, adoption contract, medical records, and a handout about Upper Respiratory Infections (URI) in cats. The microchip registration is lifelong, and we will register it for you before adoption.

Tai Lung is doing great with litter box use. We recommend starting them in a smaller room with a litter box and gradually introducing them to the rest of the home. Slow introductions to existing pets are always encouraged to ensure a successful transition.

We will provide food to help with the transition to their new home and are happy to answer any questions after adoption. While we would love for you to continue veterinary care with us at Pawsitive Care, you are welcome to use the veterinarian of your choice.
