Meet Tootie Fruit, an adorable kitten who has beaten all odds!

Tootie came to us in a tragic way. Someone had placed a litter of kittens on the side of the road in a cardboard box. The kittens, terrified, jumped out and in turn all but Tootie were hit by cars and killed. Tootie remained in the box, too sick to escape.

Thankfully, a brave woman ran across the busy road to save her. We will forever be grateful to this woman.

Tootie has done exceptionally well in foster. She had a severe upper respiratory infection that has left her one eye permanently cloudy. This does not slow her down! She can see with little to no problems!

Tootie is a sweet, quiet girl who loves other cats and to play in crinkle tunnels.

Tootie Fruit is:
- Vaccinated (Rabies and FVRCP)
- Flea/tick treated
- Dewormed
-Spayed

ACAR is a foster based rescue dedicated to giving pets a second chance. By being foster based it allows for optimal socialization with other pets, people and home life. Any interested adopters are required to fill out an application. All other pets in the home must be up to date on core vaccinations and established with a current veterinarian.

ACAR cats must go to indoor only homes and are to never be declawed.
