Meet Puma
Pumas story started with someone leaving him behind—but thankfully, someone else refused to leave him without hope.
When Pumas previous owners moved away and left him outside, a sweet lady in White House stepped in to make sure he was cared for. Although she wasnt able to take him into her home, she faithfully made sure Puma had food and water every single day.
Eventually, she reached out to one of our wonderful adopters, who welcomed Puma into their home at the beginning of July and gave him the safe place he needed while we searched for his forever family.
At 2 years old, Puma is still a young guy with SO much love to give. He recently visited the vet and was an absolute champion! He handled every vaccine and even his bloodwork without so much as a flinch. Talk about a brave boy! The vet said that he had some of the best teeth that he has ever seen.
Puma is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and leukemia negative. He is FIV positive, but that is not a big deal. He can live just as long as any other cat and is not contagious to other cats.
He is incredibly sweet, loving, and VERY vocal—so if you're looking for a cat who will happily tell you all about his day, Puma may be your guy!
He doesn't mind big dogs at all and has been wonderful with them. Puma is great with other cats so he can live with other FIV positive or FIV negative cats.
More than anything, Puma deserves what every cat deserves: a family who will never leave him behind again.
After everything he's been through, we'd love to see Puma finally get his happily-ever-after. Could you be the person who gives this sweet boy the forever home he's been waiting for?
Puma is ready for his second chance. Now he just needs you.
