Meet Papa Nooch! Now, right off the bat we want to clear up any confusion - Papa Nooch is, in fact, a girl! Her previous family had named her that, and it just kind of stuck! To avoid further confusion, we will refer to her as her nickname "Noochie" from now on.
Noochie is a 1 year old female Domestic Shorthair. She came to us through no fault of her own due to a previous family member becoming allergic. It was very tough for them to let her go, but her family knew she deserved a home where the whole family could live comfortable.
Noochie came to us alongside a fur-sibling, Marbles. The two do not have to go to the same home, but if you are considering getting a pair, we encourage you to take a look at these two! We do offer a discount to adopt two animals at the same time.
Now, Noochie is still feeling a bit nervous at the shelter. This is a very loud and chaotic place, and most newcomers take some time to adjust. Even though she's feeling shy at the moment, Noochie has not shown us even a hint of aggression. She has been so sweet and loving, and we know that as she gets used to us we will see even more of that endearing personality shine through!
In her previous home Noochie lived with kids, dogs, and cats, and got along with them all. She was actually a big fan of play time with Marbles, and we think she would love to go to a home with other pets or kids (or both!) that can keep her entertained.
Noochie is up to date on her vaccinations and microchipped, which can be transferred to the new owner's name after adoption. If you think this pretty lady could be the cat for you, come out and meet her today!
