All-black Big Mac is a wonderful cat. He plays hard (He loves toys and running.) but then likes to settle down and snuggle. While he is not yet a lap cat, he has potential; he was the first of the litter to curl up on his foster dad’s lap and fall asleep. Of the litter, Mac is also the most affectionate toward humans. When he sleeps in the bedroom, he snuggles right up and sleeps next to his foster dad. He loves being petted and purrs loudly. Some cats are just "sweet,” and that is a perfect description of Mac: a sweet boy.

Mac gets along with his littermates but has not gone through the introduction process with the other cats in his foster home; however, he is curious when the resident cats approach the barrier to the catroom. If you’re looking for a pair of these precious siblings, Mac has many options for a sibling companion. With a tight human bond, Mac could potentially excel as a solo cat due to his affectionate nature, but adoption with a sibling preferred. We are not certain how he does with children, but he could be good with kids, either in a quiet or bustling home. His ideal home would not contain dogs.

His foster dad discovered Mac’s mother and her litter in an abandoned shed at a cemetery.

“They lived for a month in that shed before I was able to rescue them,” their foster dad said. “Although I fed mom and brought them water, they still had to survive out there until I could get them in. They've all been through so much. Their mom was dumped and had kittens, and here they all are.”

Born in April 2026, Mac is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
