Sweet, playful, and absolutely stunning, Newt is the total package!
This beautiful little torbie girl has the gentlest personality and a heart full of love. She is happiest when she is chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings, or batting around her favorite ball tower. But do not t let her tiny size fool you, when Newt gets especially excited about a favorite toy, she will let out the cutest little growl that sounds far bigger than she is! It is one of her many charming quirks that will have you smiling every day. When playtime is over, Newt is ready to soak up all the love you can give. Simply acknowledge she is in the room, and her little purr motor starts right up! She adores human affection, happily curls up for pets, and unlike many cats even enjoys belly rubs. And when it comes to mealtime? Let's just say Newt lives by one motto: "Food, glorious food!" Crack open a can of wet food, and you will have one very happy little girl.
Newt is a wonderfully well-balanced kitten who makes it incredibly easy to fall in love with her. She would do best in a home with another young, playful feline friend to keep her company and share in all the fun while you're away. She has not been around children or dogs. More Adoption details: An important part of the process is to match the life-style and needs of the adopter with the individual animal being adopted. Once you have fallen in love with your purrfect match, you will need to complete an application. We have the online adoption application, or you may fill out a paper application in person at The Cat Corner location. We do not do "same-day adoptions". Our adoption fee helps to offset the services that we provide for your newest furry addition. It also acts as a donation to help support our organization as a whole, allowing us to continue our efforts to rescue and re-home cats in need of our help.

As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.
