STARFISH - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Hamilton Township, New Jersey

Meet Starfish! At just four months old, Starfish is already a little miracle wrapped in dilute calico fur. This sweet girl was found at only three weeks old, alone, and disabled, facing challenges no kitten should have to endure. But from the very beginning, Starfish proved she had a fighting spirit and a heart full of determination. Starfish was found without use of her back two legs. We took her to a couple of different vets, but none of them were able to help her recover. She doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. She has a wheelchair but prefers not to use it and she is super fast with her front legs. Her quickness makes her foster mom laugh every day. Despite her disability, Starfish approaches life with curiosity, courage, and endless affection. She has mastered the art of turning every obstacle into an adventure, and her playful personality shines brighter every day. Whether she's chasing toys with her feline housemates, snuggling up for a nap, or soaking up attention from her favorite people, Starfish reminds everyone around her that resilience comes in the smallest packages. Her beautiful dilute calico fur is as unique as her story, with each patch of color representing a chapter in her incredible journey. Starfish may have had a difficult start in life, but she has blossomed into a loving, happy kitten who inspires everyone she meets. She wears a diaper and a tiny onesie to keep it on when she is moving about the house as she does not have control of her elimination.

Sweet, brave, and full of personality, Starfish is proof that being different doesn't hold you back, it makes you extraordinary.
