After spending his first year navigating the dangerous depths of street life, Scuba Steve has officially surfaced—and he's discovered that dry land is pretty great.

As a former street cat, Steve was no stranger to high-risk expeditions. Every day meant dodging hazards, searching for supplies, and staying alert, much like a scuba diver exploring unfamiliar waters. It took courage, patience, and a healthy respect for danger to make it through.

When he first arrived, Scuba Steve stayed tucked safely in his own little "diving bell," unsure if the world above the surface could really be trusted. But with time, plenty of treats, and a calm environment, this handsome young explorer has slowly decompressed into an affectionate, curious companion.

These days, he's all about gentle pets, cozy naps, and showing off those absolutely spectacular chubby young tomcat cheeks. Seriously, they deserve their own flotation device.

At just one year old, Scuba Steve is still a playful youngster with a lifetime of adventures ahead of him. The only deep dive he's interested in now is burrowing under a blanket or investigating the bottom of the toy basket.
