Meet Mungojerrie!

Every once in a while, a kitten finds you.

Mungojerrie was apparently dumped at a MS library. One afternoon, one of our rescuers was walking back from lunch when she heard the unmistakable sound of a kitten crying. She called for help and started looking for him, expecting the usual kitten rescue routine—searching, coaxing, and probably a little bit of chasing.

But Mungojerrie had other plans.

The moment he saw her, this tiny kitten came running straight to her. No cornering. No convincing. He had apparently decided that he was coming with her and was not going to let her say otherwise.

And that pretty much tells you everything you need to know about Mungojerrie. He is an absolute LOVE who adores people and will do his very best to make sure you notice him. He wants your attention, your affection, and most of all, to be wherever you are.

We don't know how such a sweet little guy ended up crying outside a library, but we do know that he made sure the right person heard him.

Mungojerrie went looking for someone to love him that day. Now we'd like to make sure he never has to look again.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
