Meet Darla, Lucille & Chance!

Three kittens. Two different beginnings. One very happy little crew.

At four months old, Darla, Lucille, and Chance have pretty much mastered the important things in life: play hard, snuggle often, and make friends with absolutely everyone.

Darla is the kissing kitty, literally....she likes to give human kisses. Sweet and affectionate, she LOVES attention and is always happy to soak up as much love as you're willing to give. When she isn't playing with her toys, you'll often find her snuggled up with her sister, Lucille.

Lucille believes there is no such thing as too much holding. Walk anywhere near the catio and those little paws start reaching for you—pick me up, please! She's an affectionate little lovebug who is happiest in someone's arms or lounging in the hammock with Darla.

And then there's Chance, who has apparently decided that a 50-pound dog named Bella is his mother. The moment he's let out to run and play, he heads straight for her. Chance loves his toys, loves a good rubdown, and clearly has no concerns whatsoever about making friends outside his own species.

Darla and Lucille are sisters who came to us from a shelter, while Chance's beginning was a little more precarious—he was found on a highway. Somehow, these three very different paths brought them together.

Now they're happy, social, wonderfully normal kittens who are busy enjoying everything kittenhood has to offer. They're great with cats, dogs, and kids and would fit beautifully into all kinds of families.

Darla will bring the kisses. Lucille will demand the cuddles. Chance will probably adopt your dog.

All you have to do is choose which little face—or faces—you can't live without.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
