Titus - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Greenwood, Indiana

Titus came into the world the hard way — born to a feral colony alongside his three brothers, Monty, Cyrus, and Archie — but you'd never know it to meet him now. He's decided that people are, in fact, worth the risk, and he was one of the first of the litter to prove it, rubbing against legs and trailing after his foster family for pets like he's been doing it his whole life.

Don't let the "feral start" throw you — Titus is confident to his core. New things might make him pause for a second, but he's usually the first one to march up and investigate anyway, brothers be damned. He just needs people who understand that trust, for him, was built rather than born, and who'll keep being patient and gentle while he keeps proving he's got this.

What he lacks in stillness, he makes up for in personality. Titus is loud and proud — a very talkative boy who will absolutely tell you about his day — and he's basically never not playing or investigating. Toys don't stand a chance against him, tunnels and play tents seem to summon him out of thin air, and climbing anything climbable is a personal mission. He'll clamber into your lap for love but rarely stays put for long, unless he's truly tuckered out — then he'll melt into a nap on or next to you, extra happy if a brother joins the pile. When he really trusts you, he'll flop over and show his belly mid-pet, which is about as clear a compliment as a cat can give.

Sunbeams, brothers, toys, laps, tunnels — Titus wants it all, and he wants you there for it. He's looking for someone who'll match his energy, respect his feral roots, and let him keep discovering that the world (and the people in it) are worth warming up to.

Adoption fee is $150. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed and kept up to date on flea prevention.
