Meet Amelia (the beautiful tabby calico with soft, soulful eyes) and Tabitha (the sweet brown tabby with those striking green eyes). These lovely girls were once part of a home, adopted together as kittens in July 2023, where they knew comfort, routine, and love.
Sadly, through no fault of their own, they have found themselves back at the shelter after their owner had to enter a nursing home. It’s been a confusing and scary transition for them, and you can see they’re still trying to understand why their world changed.
Despite it all, Amelia and Tabitha remain incredibly sweet, gentle, and kind-hearted cats. They have a calm, loving presence and would truly thrive again in a quiet home where they can feel safe and secure. Right now, they’re a little unsure—but underneath that uncertainty are two affectionate companions who remember what it means to be loved.
They would love nothing more than to be back in a home environment, curled up in a cozy spot, watching the world go by, and enjoying gentle pets from their person.
