Meet Sweetart A Gentle Soul with the Sweetest Purr
Sweetart is an adorable kitten born around early May 2026 who came to Ninth Life Rescue Center through our Greensburg TNR program. True to her name, she is an incredibly sweet, calm, and gentle little girl who is looking for a family to love.
Sweetart can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she absolutely enjoys being petted. After just a few minutes of gentle affection, you'll hear the most rewarding sound—her happy little purr begins to rumble. She may be quiet, but she has so much love to give to the people who earn her trust.
When she's feeling comfortable, Sweetart loves to play with her siblings and feline friends. String toys are one of her favorites, and she'll happily chase anything that jingles or makes an interesting sound. And if there's one thing guaranteed to get her moving, it's dinner time! She loves her wet canned food and is always excited when it's served.
One thing Sweetart isn't very good at? Sitting still for pictures! She's much more interested in playing or exploring than posing for the camera, so you'll have to trust us when we say she's even more beautiful in person.
Because Sweetart is a little shy, she would thrive in a home with another friendly kitten or young cat to help build her confidence. At Ninth Life Rescue Center, we encourage adopting kittens in pairs whenever possible. Two kittens keep each other active, provide comfort during the adjustment to a new home, teach each other important social skills, and help prevent boredom when you're away. To help keep bonded friends together, we also offer a discount when you adopt two kittens.
