Hi, I'm Mama Coral. I was found with my tiny kittens in May. I was supposed to nurse them, get spayed and go back outside after they got bigger. I was afraid of people. I didn't understand where I was. My foster mom wasn't sure if I could adjust to being inside. But she saw that beneath my fear, was a cat that just needed patience and love. I deserved a chance. She decided that I was not going back to the streets. With time, I have learned that pets and lovins are really nice. I actually like my belly rubbed! I purr and head butt for even more pets! So that's my story of how I get to be a spoiled inside kitty now. I'm very thankful that I'll never have to be cold, wet or hungry again!
My perfect home will be quiet. My ideal human will be home a lot. While I'm sure that little kids are very nice, I think that they might scare me. I LOVE other cats! I absolutely will need a cat friend even though I'm not a kitten! When I see my cat friends getting pets it helps me be more confident. A very calm dog might be a nice addition, too. One of my babies is still with me. Maybe you would like both of us? Her name is Seashell. She is pretty just like me.
I might not be the cat that runs to you and jumps in your lap, but once I know I'm safe, you will be so happy to have earned my trust and love. Would you like to come see if I might be your new best friend?
