Meet Grayson: Professional Cuddler, Cat Conversationalist, Former Lava-Field Adventurer
Grayson may have started life outdoors on the lava fields of Hawaii, but he is quickly discovering that indoor life comes with some excellent perks: soft beds, cozy blankets, feline friends, and humans who are available for cuddling.
And Grayson is very, very into the cuddling.
Once he feels comfortable, this sweet boy is incredibly affectionate. He loves sleeping beside his person, curling up in a lap, resting next to your head, and occasionally burrowing under the covers for maximum coziness. He'll often get up to greet you when you enter the room and is happiest when he can simply hang out near someone he trusts.
Grayson also **loves other cats**. He'll walk up to feline friends and make adorable little chirps and chatter as if he's introducing himself. He wants to be close, but he has good manners too. If another cat tells him they need some space, Grayson politely backs off.
He would likely be thrilled to have a friendly kitty companion in his forever home.
Because Grayson is still fairly new to indoor life, he can be startled by loud or unfamiliar noises and may initially find a cozy hiding place when something feels overwhelming. Give him a little patience, a quiet place to settle, and plenty of gentle affection, and his confidence starts blooming surprisingly quickly.
Grayson isn't particularly motivated by treats or elaborate toys. His true currency is affection. Pet him, sit with him, give him a comfortable place to come to you, and you'll start seeing his wonderfully sweet personality emerge.
He enjoys playing on his own, is comfortable relaxing while his people are away, and would be a great match for someone looking for a loving companion rather than a nonstop whirlwind of kitten energy.
**Grayson's ideal home:**
A patient, affectionate person or family, preferably with another friendly cat, who can give him a calm introduction to his new surroundings and plenty of opportunities to cuddle.
He may have come from the lava fields, but Grayson is looking increasingly convinced that his natural habitat is actually your bed.
