Harvey - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Grand Rapids, Minnesota

Harvey survived what no animal should ever have to endure.

He was burned alive and shot in the face and body with pellets. When we rescued him, he was dying.

Thankfully, in March 2024, Harvey was rescued by Alyarz Pet Club (APC) in Beirut, Lebanon.

He spent months fighting to survive. He lost one eye because of the pellets and underwent major flap surgery to close the severe burns covering his back. He tested positive for FIV, and because of a severe gum infection, his back teeth eventually had to be removed.

And Harvey kept fighting.

He then spent nearly three years in a shelter. The stress became so overwhelming that he developed FIP - twice. And twice, our incredible boy fought his way through it.

We knew Harvey couldn't stay in a shelter any longer. We had to move him into one of our APC offices, and everything changed. He finally relaxed. He healed. And we discovered the Harvey he was always meant to be outside of a shelter.

Super sweet. Super cuddly. Affectionate. Gentle. Loving. Absolutely AMAZING.

Today, Harvey is being fostered in Minnesota, USA, and there is only one chapter missing from his story:

His forever home.

After everything this boy has survived, we don't want him to spend another year waiting.

Please help us make this the last time Harvey has to wonder where home will
