Hi there! My name is Nutmeg and I'm a 2 month old Female Domestic Shorthair currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home!

Whether I'm zooming around the house, chasing toys, helping with whatever you're doing, or curling up for snuggles, I make every day a little more fun! Like all kittens, I'm still learning about the world and will need patience, guidance, and lots of love as I grow. I thrive on playtime, enrichment, and companionship, and I'll need a family that's ready to give me the attention and care every young kitten deserves. To stay safe and healthy, I'm looking for an indoor-only home where I can enjoy all the comforts of family life without the dangers that outdoor cats face. A cozy place to sleep, nutritious food, scratching posts, toys, and plenty of affection are all on my wish list. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
