Dorothy - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania

Last but certainly not least, is our Golden Girl Dorothy. In a different life Dorothy was a fierce Puma-at least that's what she tells herself as she loves to stalk the feather wand and pounce on her prey (foster mom's foot underneath the covers). When she's not hunting, she throws her whole body into her chin scritches to the point of nearly toppling over! Dorothy is a sweet, gentle kitty that won't say no to some wet food or Churu!

Dorothy has come a long way since being in foster-from hiding in a paper bag to now lounging on the bed and starting to play. She's still shy and startles easily but continues to make remarkable progress. She should go home with patient adopters like cat savvy adults and older children who will give her time to settle in. She seems hesitant of the resident senior dog and would probably do best in a home without a dog or a calm one that respects boundaries. Similarly, Dorothy could do well as a solo cat or with a friendly resident cat with slow introductions.

Dorothy is estimated to be around 1 years old. She is spayed, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you're in the market for an apex predator in spirit, Dorothy is your girl!
