Meet Mickey and Minnie-two sweet, playful kittens who are ready to trade their uncertain beginning for loving forever homes!
Mickey and Minnie were rescued from an outdoor property where many cats were living without a consistent caregiver. Thankfully, they are now safe and have quickly shown everyone just how happy they are to leave outdoor life behind!
These affectionate, social kittens love spending time with people and playing together. Because they are a little older than some of our tiniest kittens, their wonderful personalities are already shining through-and all their initial medical care has been completed.
Mickey and Minnie are:
Fully vetted and dewormed
Sweet, playful, and affectionate
Comfortable with people
Ready to settle into loving indoor homes
After such an uncertain start, Mickey and Minnie deserve families who will shower them with love and give them the safe, happy lives they have been waiting for. Could one-or both-of these sweethearts be the perfect addition to your family?
FOSTER-TO-ADOPT PROGRAM
Not sure if a particular pet will be the perfect match? Our Foster-to-Adopt program is the way to go FMCA's foster-to-adopt program is essentially a trial period so you can be sure your selection is a good fit for your home and family. This is especially helpful if you have other pets and children or just need more time to make a final decision.
FOSTER-TO-ADOPT PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
The Foster-to-Adoption program requires a fully approved application. Applicant must be 21 years old All applicants must complete an application, undergo a residency and vet verification plus a virtual interview/home visit prior to application approval. We also require a drivers' license, or other form of ID, for each adult in the household.
CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION
We process adoptions through ShelterLuv. The first step is to complete an application:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FMCA/Cat
If you do not have a specific pet in mind, please list a general description of what you are looking for, i.e. adult female cat or pair of kittens or unknown, etc. under the section titled "Which animals are you interested in?" This will allow us to quickly determine if we may have what you are looking for readily available or in one of our foster homes still going through the vetting process.
You will hear from us in the next few days. Please note, FMCA is an all-volunteer organization and most of our volunteers work full-time, so please be patient.
After an applicant is fully approved and an appropriate pet is selected, we will coordinate pet transfer. We will stay in touch to monitor during the two-or three-week trial period. If it's a go, we will finalize the adoption electronically. During the trial period, we are always available to help with items such as getting pets settled in, pet introductions and ways to help shy pets acclimate. If things don't work out, the pet will return to FMCA.
Please email us at info@fmca.org with any questions regarding the adoption process.
