Funk Master Flash - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption

My foster writes: This clever little guy is equal parts sweetheart and explorer. He loves giving head bumps, comes over when you call or gesture to him, and is always curious about what you're up to. He's also figured out how to open doors-and once he decides there's something interesting on the other side, he is very committed to his mission. He's affectionate without being needy, respectful of your food and space. He is a very cute, very clever little guy with lots of love (and head bumps) to give.

A volunteer writes: We know Funk Master Flash likes the treats we leave for him. We also know that he prefers we not stare at him while he enjoys them. This is understandable for many reasons but also because Funk Master Flash could use a little extra space to collect his thoughts at the moment. Brought to us with two other cats when their guardian passed away, it must seem like the rug has been pulled from beneath his little paws. Settling into shelter life has been a considerable process and I'm not entirely sure Funk Master Flash knows where to start. Snuggled up in the back of his cubby and ready to air his grievances, we know he's not a fan of the Care Center but he shows bright and starry glimpses of the kitty he can be when he allows pets. We might not be able to see all of Funk Master Flash's best sides at the moment, but we hope that what we see is enough to convince someone that he's the cat for them.


A staff member writes: Funk Master Flash has finally got his Funk back! Mr Flash has been more outgoing when introduced to some of his siblings and new cats. Funk has gone from being distant to being curious and outgoing in a Flash during his shelter stay and may do best in a home with experienced, patient adopters that may already have a fur friend or two to continue to help him come out of his shell.
