Maple - Bonded with Sunny - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Fremont, California

When Maple was dumped in a community cat colony as a tiny kitten, the colony manager knew he was too small to compete for food and was in danger, so she reached out for help. He got the nourishment he needed and filled out into the healthy little guy he was meant to be. Maple’s coat has a warm, golden autumn hue with marbled swirls. He’s a velcro boy who follows his humans from room to room, chats away with sweet meows, and makes biscuits on anything soft (pajamas are a favorite). Looking for an on-call masseuse with excellent communication skills? He'll happily sleep by your pillow all night, if you let him. Maple is incredibly smart and brave. He scouted out the foster home and settled in super fast, especially for the food and litter box. He loves zooming down hallways like a little pony, bumping into your ankles for fun, then scampering off purring! Maple is easy to please; a couple of cardboard boxes with holes make his day. A feather wand is even better. He also loves hugging a stuffie, then bunny-kicking it with all his might. When we received another singleton kitten, coincidentally orange, we put them together, and within an hour it was as if they'd been together since birth. They are inseparable; they play and wrestle and nap together, so we are searching for an adopter for both Maple and Sunny!
