Cricket - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Franklin, Tennessee

Cricket is a 3-year-old spayed female who has been with her family since she was a kitten. She enjoys people and likes being petted, although she's more of an independent companion than a constant attention-seeker.

Cricket has always lived an indoor/outdoor lifestyle and uses a pet door to come and go. Outdoor access is required in her new home since cats accustomed to spending time outside may become stressed or develop unwanted behaviors when restricted to indoor-only living.

Cricket is looking for a fresh start because she was not getting along with the other cat in her current home and has begun marking indoors. A home without other cats may be the best fit for her. With the freedom to continue the indoor/outdoor lifestyle she knows and a home where she doesn't have to compete with another cat, Cricket may be much more comfortable and content.

The domestic short hair cat is a popular and diverse breed known for its unique personalities and low maintenance care. These cats come in various colors and patterns, with short, easy to manage coats that require minimal grooming. Domestic short hairs are friendly, adaptable, and make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. They possess playful and affectionate qualities that endear them to many, making them one of the most beloved and widely adopted cat breeds worldwide.
