Meet Greenleaf

Hello, I'm Greenleaf, and while I may not be the first cat to rush up and introduce myself, I hope you'll give me a chance to tell you my story.

I'm a beautiful girl with a gentle soul and a quiet heart. Since coming into my loving foster home, I've made wonderful progress learning that the world isn't such a scary place. Every day I grow a little braver, but I'm still learning that people can be trusted and that kindness can be counted on.

When I'm feeling uncertain, I find comfort in my feline friends. I adore the other cats in my foster home and can often be found snuggled up beside them or joining in a game. I have very polite manners, too. When treats or meals are being handed out, I'm happy to let the other cats go first. There's no need to rush, after all.

I'm still figuring out how I feel about being touched. Sometimes I'll cautiously come over to sniff a hand and decide that maybe, just maybe, you're safe after all. Those small moments are big victories for me. While I'm not ready to be a lap cat just yet, I'm working hard to be brave.

My favorite place in the world is a sunny window where I can watch birds, squirrels, and the world go by. It's where I feel peaceful, curious, and content.

I'm hoping to find a quiet, patient home where I can continue my journey at my own pace. Another friendly cat would be a wonderful bonus, as I gain so much confidence from my feline companions.

If you choose me, please know that trust won't happen overnight. But also know this: I am trying. Every single day, I'm taking little steps forward. And with love, patience, and understanding, I believe one day you'll see the brave, loving cat I'm becoming.
