DESCRIPTION
Lilith was originally adopted from Animal Friends Alliance as a kitten and returned 10 years later after becoming overwhelmed by the addition of a young child in the home. When she came back to us, she was shy, shut down, and in need of more medical care than expected. She underwent a full-mouth dental extraction and was diagnosed with diabetes.
Once Lilith moved into a foster home, she completely blossomed. Lilith may genuinely be one of the most affectionate cats I've ever met, and that's coming from someone who works at Animal Friends and meets cats every day! She acts absolutely love-starved, never tires of pets, and wants to be glued to your side whenever you're home. She even wins the award of expert snuggler!
Now that she's feeling better, her playful side has come out too. Despite being 10 years old, she has the energy and tiny frame of a kitten. She loves chasing her favorite wand toy around the house and will proudly fetch it back while meowing to announce her hunting success.
After three months in foster care, Lilith is now in diabetic remission and is well controlled without insulin. Her future family will need to monitor her closely for any returning symptoms, but she is currently thriving.
