She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give her a little time and she’ll gently come out of her shell, rewarding you with quiet affection and the occasional chatty moment. While she’s not quite a lap cat yet, Joyce loves being close—settling beside you, keeping you company, and bringing a calm, comforting energy.

In her foster home, Joyce proved just how easygoing she is—she does wonderfully with calm dogs and gets along well with other friendly cats too. She thrives in a peaceful environment and would be happiest in a home that isn’t too loud or chaotic, where she can relax and feel safe. She may not love cat carriers, but she more than makes up for it with her gentle nature and loving companionship. She’s a truly special girl who deserves a home as lovely as she is.
