Truffle, the tabby, is the curious one - always peeking around corners, watching everything with wide, thoughtful eyes, and bravely investigating new spaces. Taro, her blackfurred sister, brings the playful spark - pouncing, chasing, and turning every moment into a game. Together, they balance each other beautifully: curiosity and confidence, silliness and sweetness.

As they grow, their trust in humans grows too. With gentle handling, patience, and love, these girls will blossom into affectionate, loyal companions. Their bond is strong, their personalities complement each other, and they truly are the perfect little duo.

Kittens must be adopted to a home with another friendly cat to play and socialize with. Otherwise, they can be adopted in pairs from the shelter. Siblings/bonded pairs are strongly encouraged. This applies to all shelter kittens unless otherwise noted in their profile.

Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a carrier for your new pet, or you can purchase a cardboard one for just $10 at the shelter (we don't have plastic carriers to give away). We can't wait to help you meet your new furry friend!
