Good to know: Postman Pat is FIV-positive. FIV is a slow-progressing, cat-only virus, and many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, healthy lives. It is not transmissible to people or other animals and is not spread through casual contact between cats. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is already spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for FREE). Each adoption also includes a free health exam, and a small bag of their kibble. Please bring a carrier for your new pet, or you can purchase a cardboard one for just $10 at the shelter (we don't have plastic carriers to give away).
