Bentley is a distinguished 10-year-old tuxedo gentleman with a handsome face, a wise soul, and a personality that comes with a few... terms and conditions.

New situations aren't really his thing, and Bentley can be a little shy or grumpy when he's feeling unsure. He prefers people who understand that friendship shouldn't be rushed. No forced cuddles, no pushing his boundaries, and definitely no expectation that he'll be the life of the party on day one! But give this sweet old codger a little patience, a quiet voice, and the space to get comfortable, and you'll have the chance to earn his friendship on Bentley's terms-which, as any proper tuxedo gentleman will tell you, are the only terms that really matter.

Bentley's ideal home would be calm and predictable, without small children, lots of noise and activity, or other pets competing for his attention. He's looking for a patient, cat-savvy person who appreciates a fellow with a little personality, a little grumpiness, and plenty of charm. Bentley may not be everyone's cup of tea-but for the right person, we think he'll be absolutely perfect.

Come meet Bentley at High Country Humane Main Campus, located at 11665 U.S. 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday-Tuesday, 11am-5pm, and closed on Wednesdays.

Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is already spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for FREE). Each adoption also includes a free health exam, and a small bag of their kibble. Please bring a carrier for your new pet, or you can purchase a cardboard one for just $10 at the shelter (we don't have plastic carriers to give away).
