Ross
I think the staff first called me "Roadie" because I came in as a wounded stray. I had both healing and fresh wounds on my face, and all my paw pads were peeling and inflamed. They wondered if I had been hit by a car or had been injured by a not-nice person. Anywhoo, I was grateful a kind lady found me and brought me to HSHC on July 29. We all know that I am 3- years-old, 8.5 pounds, not yet neutered, and my eye wound, facial wounds, puncture wound in my left leg, and wounded paws are all getting better. And now they call me Ross. I have a spiffy Condo where I can stretch out and take some great naps. I am also truly pumped up when I see a volunteer or staff member come and open my door! The interviewer lady (IL) recently stopped by, and I had a blast sitting on her lap, letting her pet me all over, and accepting some chin scratches. She told me I am a very handsome fellow with interesting stripes made up of spots in my brown tabby coat. She really likes brown tabbies. I sort of sneaked out of my Condo and roamed around the room for a bit, but I let the IL pick me up and return me to my digs. I may be a stray cat, but I am sociable, friendly, and eager to find a loving forever home. I think I would make a great house cat for a lucky person! So why not come and meet me? Ask for Roa—, um, Ross. 9-19-26
