A beautiful, sweet, young cat who has been an incredible mother to her five kittens and is now ready for a calm, loving forever home of her own.
River is a vocal, expressive girl who chirps to her humans and kittens and even "sings" to her toys during playtime. Her loud purr starts the moment she is touched or spoken to. She's not shy about letting you know that she loves youor that she wants your attention. She'll gently headbutt whatever part of you she can reach to remind you she's there and very deserving of pets and affection. River's favorite spots are the windowsill and right next to her human, where she can stretch out and enjoy a nice snooze.
Miss Song is wonderfully tolerantnail trims, kitten chaos, and even wearing a recovery suit have all been met with patience and purrs. She loves being brushed, goes crazy for catnip toys and anything with a feather, and uses the scratching posts with style and grace. She is also incredibly smart and will go to her toy basket to choose favorites, sometimes even bringing them to her kittens to share.
She can be a little shy with new people and situations, but warms up with time, trust, and gentle encouragement. She's already learned that things like the vacuum (robot or otherwise) are just part of life to watch from a safe distance.
River is a sweet, affectionate cat who will thrive in a quiet, calm home where her humans are around often to enjoy a steady, loving life with her. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is almost up to date on her vaccines. Her estimated birthday is 3/30/2023.
