Coco
When I arrived at HSHC on May 10, 2026, I had just weaned five kittens and was recovering from mastitis. As the offspring of my owner's mother’s cat, I come from a line of unspayed females, but I'm now spayed and won’t add to the stray cat population—adopting me supports responsible pet ownership. I'm 3-1/2 years old and quickly regained my healthy pre-pregnancy weight of 8.4 lbs. I also had a minor summer cold, but I recovered with medicine and now feel great. Usually, I'm an indoor cat but sometimes socialized on the porch with the family; a few times, I escaped when in heat and returned with scratches, which is how I ended up with kittens. I’m a friendly, pretty girl with a soft white coat and brown Tabby markings. If you pat your lap and say "come," I’ll happily join you for cuddles, and you can hold me like a football, but please don’t touch my tail. When I first met the interviewer lady (IL), I was a bit grumpy from mastitis but still approached for pets and face rubs. Now, I’m even cuddlier and love attention—just yesterday, I licked the IL’s hand to show I’m feeling well. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion, I’d love to join your family. 6-5-26
