Meet Benny - aka Benihana the Piranha!

Our sweet little street survivor is officially ready to start looking for his forever family!

Benny came to us after being rescued from the streets of Detroit with a severe upper respiratory and eye infection that had left him unable to see. After lots of medication, TLC, and determination from this tiny fighter, Benny is doing SO well! His eyes have improved tremendously, and he appears to have regained some of his vision. His sight is still limited, but you certainly wouldn't know it from watching him zoom around and play!

And speaking of playing... Benny has earned his nickname "Benihana the Piranha" for a reason. This little guy is spunky, silly, playful, and FULL of kitten energy. He absolutely loves to play, so we would love to see him in a home with another playful kitten or young cat who can be his buddy and help him burn off some of that piranha energy!

Benny has also mastered one of the most important kitten skills: he uses his litter box perfectly!

Benny is scheduled to be neutered at his vet appointment on September 10th, but he doesn't have to wait until then to meet his family! He is available to go home foster-to-adopt beforehand, with his adoption finalized once his remaining vetting is completed.

This little guy has already come such a long way. From a sick, scared kitten on the streets who couldn't see, to a happy little troublemaker who is playing, exploring, and discovering his world more every day.

Now all Benny needs is the family who will love him exactly as he is - limited vision, piranha tendencies, and all.
