Meet Sonoma!
Sonoma didn't have the easiest start. This adorable calico was found outside, dirty, skinny, and about to give birth, with no one looking out for her. But this girl is sharp. It didn't take long for her to figure out that people were pretty great, and that being inside was even better. She put in the work raising her surviving kitten, and now that she is grown and ready for her own home, it's finally Sonoma's turn to find hers.
Sonoma is sweet and lovey, the kind of cat who wants to be wherever you are and curious about whatever you're doing. She's also hilariously grumpy, with a whole vocabulary of meows, grumbles, and the occasional hiss to let you know exactly how she feels in the moment. Don't let it fool you though, the spice is all show. She's still learning how to settle into a forever kind of life, and a little grumbling is just part of her charm.
She tends to be shy at first while she gets used to a new place and new people, but once she warms up, she's all in. Considering everything she's been through, Sonoma is basically still a kitten herself, playful and full of personality. She'd do great as an only cat or alongside a friendly feline, as long as introductions are slow and easy.
Sonoma has already proven she's resilient, adaptable, and ready to love. Now she just needs someone willing to be patient while she figures out that this home is hers to keep.
