Spud is a handsome orange tabby with a true working cat mindset and just a hint of sweetness beneath the surface. He’s the kind of cat who thrives when he has a job to do, making him a great fit for a barn, garage, or mechanic shop where he can stay busy and help keep pests under control.
While he’s not one to seek out constant attention, Spud does have a softer side. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll enjoy a few head scratches and quiet moments on his terms. Independent, dependable, and just social enough to show his appreciation, Spud is ready to settle in and get to work.

ADOPTION PACKAGE:
Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $50 includes spay/neuter, ear tip, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.

Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:

· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.
· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.
· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)
· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.
· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit card, or money order.

* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
