Keta - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Fairfax, Virginia

Keta has been spending a few days in the office with staff, and he has been an absolute delight! On his first afternoon, he took some time to decompress in his cage but showed lots of curiosity, vocalizing whenever we talked to him. By day two, he had settled in beautifully—enjoying a fresh bed and blankets, exploring the shelves, playing with toys, and happily eating Churu treats. By day three, Keta was fully in his groove and showing off his charming personality. He lounged nearby while we worked, accepted treats, soaked up attention from visitors, and continued to be a sweet, relaxed companion. He’s affectionate, playful, curious, and loves being part of the action while still enjoying his cozy nap spots. Keta recently saw a small, calm dog at the office. He watched her quietly at first, then let her know with a hiss and spit that he wasn’t comfortable with close interaction. With slow introductions or a dog who respects feline boundaries, he may adjust—but he may also prefer a dog-free home. Keta is a wonderful, friendly boy who has already won over everyone in the office. He’ll make a fantastic companion in a home that appreciates a sweet, social cat with a playful, confident personality.
