Hi. My name is Sabrina.

I am a tiny black cat with a very big personality, and I would like to clear up a few things before we proceed with my adoption application.

First, yes, I am sweet.

Very sweet.

I am affectionate, I bond deeply with my people, and once I decide you're my person, congratulations—you have been selected for a lifetime subscription to SabrinaTM Premium Cuddles.

My preferred sleeping arrangements include:

Your bed
Your lap
Basically anywhere I can be touching you

I am also an excellent nighttime companion. I will happily curl up with you while you sleep, because apparently some humans enjoy having a warm little creature nearby to make sure they don't accidentally become lonely.

I am shy and sensitive.

Loud noises?

Young children?
I'm going to respectfully decline that meeting.

But older kids who understand that cats have boundaries? Much better.

And here's where my foster family discovered something pretty important about me:

I can learn.

I was very nervous around their two small, cat-friendly dogs at first, but because they give me space and respect my boundaries, I've eventually become comfortable around them.

However, I am NOT good with other cats.

Like... not good.

I don't want a roommate.

I don't want a feline sibling.

I don't want to participate in a group project.

I want to be the only cat.

And honestly? After everything I've been through, I think that's okay.

Because Sabrina doesn't need to be the cat who fits into any home.

She needs to be the cat who finds her home.

And then there's the part that makes us love her even more.

Sabrina has hyperthyroidism.

Her rescue family has spent months trying different approaches and figuring out what works best for her. And they found it.

She's on a wonderful routine that keeps her levels where they need to be, and her medication is incredibly easy to give:

One pill in the morning.
One pill at night.
Crushed into her wet food.

And Sabrina?

EATS IT.

No wrestling match.

No chasing her around the house.

No tiny feline attorney demanding to speak with her representative.

Just medication mixed into her wet food, and Sabrina happily goes about her day.

Pills are also the least expensive treatment option for her hyperthyroidism, making this sweet girl's care surprisingly manageable.

What Sabrina really needs...

She needs someone who understands that the shy cat hiding in the corner isn't necessarily the cat she'll always be.

Her foster family recommends starting her in a small room without a place to hide, giving her the opportunity to get comfortable with her new person and surroundings.

And once Sabrina feels safe?

Oh, honey.

That's when the magic happens.

Because underneath that shy exterior is an incredibly affectionate little girl who wants nothing more than to bond with her person and be loved.

She has spent too much time being limited to one room because there were other cats around.

She's ready for something different.

She's ready for a home where she doesn't have to compete.

Where she doesn't have to be brave all by herself.

Where she can stretch out, climb into your lap, curl up beside you at night and finally say:

"Okay. I think I'm home."

Sabrina is estimated to have been born in 2023. She's fixed, vaccinated to age and microchipped.

She isn't looking for a perfect person.

She isn't looking for a perfect house.

She just needs a calm, patient human who will give her the chance to become the affectionate companion she already wants to be.

And in return?

You'll get a little black cat who may start out as a nervous gremlin...

...but could very well end up being your absolute best friend.

Sabrina doesn't need a house full of cats.
She just needs one person who will finally make her feel like she has a home.
