Georgia Peach 🍑 is 9 years old ... and her story could have ended so differently.
Nine years.
Nine years in a home.
Nine years of being someone’s baby…
And then one day, she was brought to the vet to be euthanized.
The reason?
“She’s peeing on furniture.”
But something about that didn’t sit right.
Thanks to the compassion of a truly kind soul, Georgia was given a second chance instead of a final goodbye. And when we got the call … our founder said yes even when we were full.
Our volunteer Craig picked her up, and from the moment she arrived, Georgia has been exactly what her name promises… an absolute peach. 🍑
We have seen no issue with her using the litter box. In fact, she uses it confidently and consistently!!
So we’re left wondering…
After nine years, how does a life just get… discarded?
Georgia doesn’t understand why she’s here.
She just knows everything changed.
She’s a talker — she’ll chat with you about her day, her feelings, and probably your business too. She can get a little vocal when other cats get in her space, but honestly… who wouldn’t be? Her whole world was turned upside down.
What she really wants is simple:
A quiet home.
Maybe a kitty friend or two who respect her space.
A cozy spot to lounge.
And someone who will listen when she talks.
She’s not “too much.”
She’s not “a problem.”
She’s just a good girl who deserves someone to choose her… again.🧡
