Street Cats Club is a volunteer-run, licensed rescue in Emporia, KS. Our kittens and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, treated with flea/tick preventative, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations.

Meet Spooky—a tiny black beauty who grew up far too fast. Still practically a kitten herself, she found herself surviving on the streets while caring for a litter of little ones. Thankfully, her days of worrying about where her next meal would come from are over, and now it's finally her turn to be cared for.

She's a quiet soul who can be a little timid at first. The indoor life is still new, and she's learning that people can be kind, couches are surprisingly comfortable, and food magically appears without having to hunt for it.

Every day, she grows a little braver. A little more curious. A little more trusting.

She doesn't need someone looking for the boldest cat in the room—she needs someone who understands that the sweetest victories are earned one gentle moment at a time. With patience, love, and a cozy spot to call her own, Spooky is ready to leave survival mode behind and discover what it feels like to simply be someone's beloved cat.

She may have a spooky name, but the only thing she'll haunt is your heart. She's already been the hero for her kittens. Now it's her turn to have a happy ending.
