DESCRIPTION
Todd is very sweet, affectionate, and friendly. He loves to play and run but also demands pets and attention. Todd has an autoimmune condition called Drug Induced Pemphigus Foliaceus. The immune system mistakenly attacks the "glue" between skin cells, forming pus-filled blisters, yellow crusts, and scabs. His condition is only induced by medication including flea medication both topical and oral. His vet would need to aware so when they need to order medication they can monitor for an outbreak and if the medication is medically necessary order Prednisolone in conjunction. He would also need to strictly indoors because he can not have flea medications. Drug Induced Pemphigus Foliaceus is very easy to manage but needs to be something the new owner and vet are aware of for proper management.
