Lesley - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Effingham, Illinois

Lesley may have been the last of her litter to arrive, but she certainly knows how to make an entrance. She joined her sisters Cheryl, Lisa, and KJ a few days later after they were transferred here from our local Animal Control, and she's been keeping everyone on their toes ever since.

Like her sisters, Lesley was named after one of Animal Control's dedicated volunteers. The people behind these names spend countless hours caring for homeless animals, often without much recognition, so we thought it was only fitting that this special litter carry on their legacy.

Lesley has an adventurous streak a mile wide. If there's something new to explore, she's already halfway there. She's curious, confident, and just a little bit sassy, always ready to turn an ordinary afternoon into a kitten-sized expedition. Whether she's chasing toys, climbing to the highest perch she can find, or investigating every corner of the room, she approaches life with enthusiasm and plenty of personality.

At around 6 months old, Lesley is ready to start her next adventure with a family of her own. She'd love a home where she can play, explore, and then curl up for a well-deserved cat nap after a busy day of important kitten business.

Lesley's adoption fee is $90, or adopt two kittens for $150. Her adoption includes her spay, FIV/FeLV testing, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea and tick prevention, and a microchip that we'll register for you.
