Felix & Cleo are a delightful pair of inseparable kittens. They met at the shelter and formed a deep bond and we can't imagine them being apart! These purrfect little sweethearts are the whole package-friendly, snuggly, playful, silly and affectionate.
Felix came to the shelter as a 2-week old kitten with his 2 littermates. Felix's mom had sadly been hit by a car and didn't survive. Felix's trauma didn't end there-he and his littermates had severe diarrhea and in kittens that young, it can be fatal. Sadly, Felix was the sole survivor of his litter.
Cleo was found as a 1-week old kitten with 3 littermates after being abandoned by their mom. Cleo and her littermates also had severe diarrhea when they came in. One of Cleo's littermates didn't make it and the others recovered quickly and got adopted! Cleo took longer to get better so she and Felix were put together so they could solve their poop issues together!
Fast forward 4 months and these babies are doing great on a prescription food for digestive health. They will need to stay on this diet after they are adopted (the MCSPCA will send them home with a bunch of food to get started). In addition, to set these cuties up for success, they will need multiple litter boxes in different areas of the home as Felix will occasionally drop a piece of poop as he's running around (having multiple litter boxes around the home helps to increase the chance that the poop will end up in a box and not the floor)!
We know that a prescription diet and occasional poop outside the litter box aren't for everyone but we are hoping for a special someone(s) who will be okay with that in exchange for the happiest and sweetest furever best friends!
