Baretta Lamoree - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Eagle Mountain, Utah

Meet Baretta - Tiny Girl. Big Eyes. Bigger Opinions.

Baretta would like to clear something up immediately:

Being the smallest does NOT mean being in charge any less.

At three months old and weighing less than 3 pounds, Baretta is the petite little princess of her foster crew. She's wrapped in unbelievably silky-soft fur, topped off with enormous, brilliant blue eyes that don't just look at you...

They look directly into your soul.

The neighborhood kids who come over to help socialize the foster kittens affectionately call her "Crazy Eyes." Spend approximately five seconds staring into those baby blues and you'll understand why.

Baretta originally came to Celestial Zoo as a frightened feral kitten who was quick to offer a hiss and let you know exactly what she thought about humans.

Oh, how times have changed.

These days, the purring often starts before you even pick her up.

And once Baretta decided humans were acceptable, she apparently decided she should also be in charge of them.

She's first in line for playtime. First in line for treats. And despite being the smallest of the bunch, she has absolutely no problem running the show.

Bring out a squirmy worm and prepare yourself.

Baretta becomes a tiny airborne acrobat-jumping, twisting and launching herself after it with the determination of an Olympic athlete who has trained her entire life for this exact moment.

Her foster siblings don't intimidate her either. Sometimes one kitten has her tail, another has her around the neck, and Baretta seems completely unconcerned with the details.

Attention is attention. Carry on.

If there's a kitten pile, you'll usually find Baretta on top.

Obviously.

She's feisty, energetic, confident and perfectly capable of holding her own with kittens considerably larger than she is. Size has apparently never occurred to her as something worth worrying about.

But underneath all that tiny-girl confidence is an incredibly affectionate little kitten.

Pick her up and the motor starts. Give her a cozy spot and she'll settle in. Put her inside the hood of a backwards hoodie and your fearless little CEO may promptly fall asleep while you carry her around.

And that fur...

Baretta has some of the softest, silkiest fur imaginable-the kind you'd expect a tiny princess to come wrapped in.

Baretta isn't looking for someone who wants a quiet little wallflower.

She's looking for someone who appreciates a girl who knows what she wants, isn't afraid to go after it and somehow manages to be both ridiculously beautiful and just a little bit spicy.

She's tiny.

She's gorgeous.

She's fearless.

She's affectionate.

She's got a continuous purr, spectacular blue eyes and enough personality to run an entire household.

Honestly, she probably will.

If you're looking for the little one who plans to run the show, Baretta would like to know when you'll be picking her up.
