Charlie resides with foster mom Susan, so for questions or an appointment to meet him, call or text 203-909-3240. Appointments are scheduled after a phone call to qualify.
We conduct all our adoptions over the phone only as there is no application to complete on line.
Charlie is a super smart and over the top affectionate cat who's 4 yrs young. This adorable tuxedo understands everything you say and he's a savy survivor of an inner city somewhat dangerous location. Charlie was originally named 'windowsill cat' as this persistent feline sat on a windowsill waiting outside for food morning, noon and night. Our rescue was trapping the area and our hearts sank watching this thin lonely cat wait hour after hour for food from a feeder who was no longer living in a 1st floor run down apt. So we HAD to rescue Charlie! We did and the rest is history.
Charlie is playful but the other foster cats don't understand his 'style'! So Charlie is a loner in his foster home and we found he prefers his people over other cats however sometimes he will consider sitting quietly alongside an older female for company. He's also very mellow and would LOVE to sit with you on the sofa as he snuggles up next to you! Bottom line, yes he's a super love!
Charlie is neutered, received rabies vac, de-wormed, no fleas, no ear mites, shiny coat!
To qualify please be:
-Over the age of 25; employed and /or retired. Please be able to afford the cost of a feline.
-Owner of your own house or condo.
-Renters must provide paper documentation of their lease that they are allowed a feline in their rental apt, condo or house.
