Noah is a 3-month-old spayed female Domestic Shorthair kitten who was admitted on 06/14/2026 as a stray intake and is seeking placement with a rescue or experienced foster dedicated to continued socialization. Noah arrived with one sibling after being found outdoors in an area with a large stray cat population. Because she is still very young, she has an excellent opportunity to develop into a confident companion with patient handling and positive experiences in a home environment.

At intake, Noah was extremely fearful and difficult to handle, displaying behaviors such as bolting, scratching, and attempting to bite when approached. Staff noted that her body language could be difficult to read, as she often showed minimal outward warning signs despite being highly uncomfortable with human interaction. However, after spending some time decompressing in the shelter, Noah began showing encouraging signs of progress. During follow-up interactions, she allowed gentle petting on her head, sides, and under her chin without hissing, swatting, biting, or attempting to flee, suggesting that she may respond well to continued socialization efforts.

Medically, Noah is in good health. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP, tested negative for panleukopenia, and received routine preventative care. Noah would thrive in a calm environment with a patient caregiver who understands the needs of undersocialized kittens and can continue building her trust through gentle, consistent interactions.
